Young and not afraid of his talent we recently met a young artist everyone know as Finesse God Rico . Such a great name to remember for an artist that is starting in the industry and already getting thousands and thousands of streams on his music, especially his firs released song titled ”Zelle” which caught our attention, made us obsess a little bit about him and now that he is back with ”Premonition” we had to review a bit his first single! A song that has increased our affection for his Rap to a new level!
He is bringing a mix of deep, calm yet upbeat and energetic vibes into this Hip Hop sound, available now on all streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music…!
We are moved and found enlightenment in the way he raps through the song and it feels like ”Zelle” is on a quest to project bigger thoughts and bigger meaning into our lives and throughout music. This is a great song that encourages everyone to let go of their emotional barriers and let their feelings free, be moved and like us, obsess about it. The reflectiveness comes with only pure intentions and his voice leading the song makes exactly that!
But who is he?
Growing up in West Brentwood, NY wasn’t the easiest. Finesse God Rico knew this and wanted something different and better for his life. There were plenty of options and Rico knew this, so he explored those. While in school, he discovered his passion for music, and would often rap at lunch with his peers. As things got closer to his graduation, the pandemic started. Things got rough for him after losing his job, so he found another way to make ends meet without one.
We’re touched by how incredible ”Zelle” sounds, the way he delivers his message is clearly beyond expectations, full of honesty, personality and truthiness and as the listener, this song feels like the perfect point to begin an album with.
